Job Purpose :

The Pilot (Captain) is responsible for the operation of a technologically advanced aircraft safely and efficiently in a multi-crew environment in accordance with company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Overseeing the flight operations of the assigned aircraft and ensuring safe and succesful flights
Conducting crew briefings and pre-flight inspections
Flying the assigned aircraft to destinations designated by management and in accordance with schedules determined by management
Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies concerning the conduct of flights
Completing flight reports and other required paperwork
Other tasks as assigned from time-to-time by the Head of Flight Operations / Chief Pilot

Qualifications :

Minimum :	Valid ICAO ATPL
Preferred :	Valid ICAO ATPL with current ERJ-145 type rating and/orTRE/TRI/Check Airman qualification

Experience :

Minimum :	At least 3000 hrs total flying time
Preferred :	At least 5000 hrs total flying time with 2000 hrs as Captain on a multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft

Skills :

MUST have ICAO Level 4 English proficiency

MUST be extremely conversant with modern technology

MUST be comfortable working with tablet computers, smartphones and other cutting edge devices

MUST be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

MUST demonstrate a high level of initiative and independence

MUST be flexible and able to work under pressure

MUST possess good leadership skills

MUST be able to provide certified log books to demonstrate experience

Other :

A valid passport is required. Work permits for Ghana can be arranged for qualified applicants. Applicants must be able to provide full references for all positions held (including periods of unemployment) in the last 5 years.

Permanent and fixed-term contract positions are available.
